• Platform handles: social media usernames (e.g., YouTube channel, Instagram handle) you enter to run a presence check.
• Payment data: billing information processed by Stripe. We do not store full card details.

Information collected automatically

• Evaluation data: your presence check results, including scores and valuations, are stored to power your dashboard and history.
• Usage data: page views, feature usage, and interactions to understand how PresenceIQ is used.
• Device & browser info: IP address, browser type, and OS for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the PresenceIQ service.
• To calculate and display your Online Social Net Worth score.
• To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
• To send transactional emails (password reset, account confirmation, deletion confirmation).
• To display relevant advertising through Google AdSense (see Section 3).
• To detect abuse and prevent fraudulent activity.
• To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Required for the service to function (e.g., keeping you logged in). These cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies

Help us understand how visitors use PresenceIQ. We use anonymised usage metrics to improve the service.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

With your consent, we use Google AdSense to display relevant advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to PresenceIQ or other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third parties where necessary to provide our service:

• Google AdSense & Analytics — advertising and usage analytics.
• Stripe — payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Postmark — transactional email delivery.
• Meta (Facebook Pixel) — conversion tracking for marketing.
• Render / Neon — cloud infrastructure for hosting and database storage.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and evaluation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (see Section 6), all personal data is permanently purged within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: update your display name in your account dashboard.
• Deletion: permanently delete your account and all associated data.
• Portability: request an export of your data.
• Objection: object to certain types of data processing (e.g., personalised advertising).

7. Children's Privacy

PresenceIQ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PresenceIQ after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
